Because you have developed the mental framework for it. You HAVE to start with this step if you want to reach somewhere in your nutrition planning —  and believe, you, me it works!

Spend time with recipes – The more you get to know about food, the better your nutrition plan will be. Check out food blogs on a daily basis, pick up those recipe books you have been thinking about, gain as much information about the variety of food as you can. To save these recipes, keep a food journal to record your eating habits and food knowledge. This will enable you to see both of them under the same light, thus making it easier for you to judge where you are going wrong and rectify those mistakes.

Come up with themes – This idea has helped some folks keep their nutrition plan entertaining enough for them to keep doing it time and again. Come up with a list of food items that you need to eat for the entire week. Now, delegate these items to different days and give them names; like broccoli Thursdays? Fruits and veggies are a win/win for your nutrition plan — they are as delicious as they are healthy. Therefore, the more you have them, the better.
